PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF USE CAREFULLY. BY ACCESSING OR PARTICIPATING IN THE CREPEWORKS REWARDS PROGRAM, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS OF USE AND ALL TERMS INCORPORATED HEREIN BY REFERENCE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS OF USE, DO NOT ACCESS OR PARTICIPATE IN THE CREPEWORKS REWARDS PROGRAM.

You agree that we may provide notices, disclosures and amendments to these Terms of Use, and other information relating to the Crepeworks Rewards program by electronic means, including posting such information and materials online at https://www.crepeworks.com

These Terms of Use apply to your access to, and participation in, the Crepeworks Rewards program in Canada (“Crepeworks Rewards”), which is operated by Crepeworks Canada, Inc. or its respective subsidiaries, licensees and affiliated companies (collectively, “Crepeworks”). These Terms of Use do not alter in any way the terms or conditions of any other agreement you may have with Crepeworks for other products or services, such as Crepeworks Cards.

For Quebec Residents: We will provide you with notice of the proposed amendment via in-app message or email (depending on your communication preferences). The notice will contain a description of the amendments and a description of your cancellation rights under this clause. If you disagree with any amendments, you may terminate these Terms of Use by sending us a notice to that effect at any time in the 30-day period prior to the amendments coming into effect. If the amendment increases your obligations under these Terms of Use, or decreases our obligations under these Terms of Use, then you can also cancel in the 30 days after the amendments take effect. In either case, there will be no cost or penalty for cancelling. For greater clarity, your continued participation in Crepeworks Rewards following any applicable notice period confirms your acceptance of any such changes.

For Residents of All Other Provinces: Crepeworks reserves the right to change or modify these Terms of Use or any policy, FAQ, or guideline pertaining to Crepeworks Rewards, in whole or in part, at any time and in its sole discretion. Any changes or modifications will be effective immediately upon posting the revisions to www.crepeworks.com and you waive any right you may have to receive specific notice of such changes or modifications. Your continued access to or participation in Crepeworks Rewards following any such changes or modifications confirms your acceptance of these Terms of Use and such changes or modifications; therefore, you should review these Terms of Use and the policies, FAQs and guidelines pertaining to Crepeworks Rewards frequently to understand the terms and conditions that apply to your access to and participation in Crepeworks Rewards. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, you must stop accessing and participating in Crepeworks Rewards.

Crepeworks Rewards is intended for personal use only. Commercial use is prohibited. Crepeworks Rewards is not targeted towards, nor intended for use by, anyone under the age of 13. If you are between the ages of 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence, you may access and participate in Crepeworks Rewards only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms of Use.

Please read the Privacy Statement carefully to understand how Crepeworks collects, uses and discloses information about customers, how to update or change your personal information, and how we communicate with you.

About Crepeworks Rewards

Crepeworks Rewards is one way in which Crepeworks endeavors to reward and thank loyal customers for patronizing our business and purchasing Crepeworks products. Crepeworks Rewards members are able to earn and accumulate “Points” that can be redeemed for Crepeworks Rewards benefits (“Rewards”) at participating Crepeworks stores and are eligible to receive certain additional benefits. Unfortunately, not all Crepeworks stores have the ability to award Points or redeem Points for Rewards at this time. To find the location nearest you that participates in Crepeworks Rewards, visit the Crepeworks Store Locator at www.crepeworks.com/locations and search for locations honouring

“Digital Rewards”.

Joining Crepeworks Rewards. To be eligible to join Crepeworks Rewards in accordance with these Terms of Use, you must register a physical address in Canada at the time you join Crepeworks Rewards.

There are four (4) ways to join Crepeworks Rewards and begin accumulating Points:
If you have a physical Crepeworks Card or a Crepeworks Card eGift, visit www.crepeworks.com/rewards. Follow the prompts to create an account and register at least one (1) physical Crepeworks Card or a Crepeworks Card eGift. Unless otherwise stated, the minimum balance required to activate a physical Crepeworks Card or a Crepeworks Card eGift is Five Canadian Dollars ($5.00).

Download the Crepeworks mobile app to your Android™ or iPhone® device. Follow the prompts to create a Crepeworks Rewards account and register a digital Crepeworks Card.

Purchase a qualifying Crepeworks product from a participating grocery retailer and either (a) enter the Points code located on, or if indicated, inside the packaging at www.crepeworks.com/rewards or, if applicable, (b) submit a photo of your valid receipt confirming your purchase of qualifying products at www.Crepeworks.com/rewards Follow the applicable prompts to create a Crepeworks Rewards account. Note that such creation will automatically register a digital Crepeworks Card to your Crepeworks Rewards account.

Join Crepeworks Rewards through a special promotion, membership or other program that may be offered by Crepeworks and/or our business partners or affiliates. There may be additional terms and conditions applicable to these promotions and programs, so please read them carefully. Note that any creation of a Crepeworks Rewards account through a special promotion, membership or other program will automatically register a digital Crepeworks Card to your Crepeworks Rewards account.

Crepeworks Cards and Account Registration

The Crepeworks Rewards registration process requires you to add a Crepeworks Card to your Crepeworks Rewards account. Crepeworks Cards may include: physical Crepeworks plastic cards that are available for sale from participating Crepeworks stores and other retail locations (for example, gift card “malls” or kiosks); digital forms of physical Crepeworks plastic cards; and Crepeworks Card eGifts that can be purchased at www.crepeworks.com For more information about Crepeworks Cards, please visit www.crepeworks.com

In addition, the Crepeworks Rewards registration process may require that you provide the following information: username, password, email address, physical address, telephone number, Crepeworks Card number and card security code (CSC), birthday, name, and marketing preferences. All of your Crepeworks Cards can be activated and registered for use in Crepeworks Rewards, but you may have only one (1) Crepeworks Rewards account that is personal to you.

If you change the address associated with your Crepeworks Rewards account to one that is not located in Canada, your Crepeworks Cards will continue to function, but your Crepeworks Rewards account will be deactivated. During such deactivation, you will no longer be able to earn Points or redeem Points for Rewards under your Crepeworks Rewards account. Note that previously earned Points in your Crepeworks Rewards account may expire as described below.

Earning Points

The Rewards that are available to you through Crepeworks Rewards are based on the number of Points that you earn. You can earn Points by making purchases with a Crepeworks Card registered to your Crepeworks Rewards account at participating Crepeworks stores in Canada, the United States, Puerto Rico, the United Kingdom and Ireland.

You will earn Points based on the value of your purchase at the rate of two (2) Points for each One Canadian Dollar ($1.00) you spend at participating Crepeworks stores using a Crepeworks Card registered to your Crepeworks Rewards account. If you are a Crepeworks partner (i.e., employee), you will earn Points at the rate of three (3) Points for each One Canadian Dollar ($1.00) you spend using a Crepeworks Card registered to your Crepeworks Rewards account so long as you also have your “partner” Crepeworks Card registered to your Crepeworks Rewards account. Note that Points may be earned in fractional amounts depending on the value of your purchase.

Currency Exchange

If the address associated with your Crepeworks Rewards account is located in Canada, any qualifying purchase you make using a Crepeworks Card registered to your Crepeworks Rewards account at participating Crepeworks stores in Canada, the United States, Puerto Rico, the United Kingdom or Ireland will earn Points as if the currency were expressed in Canadian Dollars. No currency exchange is applied to the value of your purchase for the purpose of determining how many Points you have earned. For example, if the value of your purchase is One Canadian Dollar or One Pound (United Kingdom), you will earn two (2) Points for your purchase in each case.

Additional Methods for Earning Points
Star Codes. You can earn Points by entering Star codes at www.Crepeworks.ca/rewards. Star codes may, from time to time, be distributed through promotional materials or inside specially marked packages of Crepeworks products sold in grocery stores. The number of Points awarded using Star codes may vary. You can redeem a maximum of two (2) Star codes per day and can earn up to ninety-one (91) Points per year using Star codes. Certain other limitations may apply to Star codes. For example, Star codes may have expiration dates. Check the promotional materials or product packaging for specific restrictions applicable to a particular Star code.

Receipt Verification. You can earn points when you purchase qualifying Crepeworks products from participating retailers and submit a photo of your receipt at www.Crepeworks-points.ca. To earn Points through receipt verification, you must comply with the Crepeworks Rewards Receipt Verification Terms & Conditions. Certain limitations may apply to the receipt verification program. Visit www.Crepeworks-points.ca for more information.
Promotional Bonus Star Offers. From time to time, we, or others acting with our permission, may offer you special promotions that offer you additional “Bonus Points.” The promotional Bonus Points will be awarded as described in the applicable promotional offer and will be subject to any additional terms set forth in such promotional offer. These promotional Bonus Points may only be available to residents of certain provinces, or they may be offered Canada-wide.
Partnership Programs. Eligible customers may earn Points through participation in programs offered by our business partners. Crepeworks does not operate and is not responsible for these programs, which have separate and additional terms and conditions governing how Points may be earned.

Exclusions to Earning Points

You may not earn Points in connection with certain types of beta or promotional programs. In addition, you cannot earn Points on purchases of alcoholic beverages or on Crepeworks Cards (such as activations, reloads, transfers, and other card-to-card transactions). Taxes, tips, donations, and fees, including without limitation, shipping and handling fees, gift wrapping fees, delivery fees, and bag fees, also may be excluded and ineligible for Star accrual.

When Points Are Added to Your Crepeworks Rewards Account

Generally, Points are automatically added to your Crepeworks Rewards account within twenty-four (24) hours of when you earned them. Note that there may be a delay in adding Points earned through receipt verification to your Crepeworks Rewards account. Points earned through receipt verification are generally added to your Crepeworks Rewards account within 3-5 business days from when you complete the receipt submission at www.Crepeworks-points.com.

If you void a purchase made with a Crepeworks Card registered to your Crepeworks Rewards account, Crepeworks will deduct the Points that you earned for that purchase, potentially resulting in a negative Star balance on your Crepeworks Rewards account. If you return merchandise, packaged coffee, food or tea that you purchased with a Crepeworks Card registered to your Crepeworks Rewards account (note: an original receipt or gift receipt is required), your funds will be returned to you on a card with store credit, but Crepeworks will not deduct any Points from your Crepeworks Rewards account. Cards with store credit may be used in any participating Crepeworks stores, but they are not Crepeworks Cards. Purchases made with cards with store credit do not accrue Points and cannot be registered or reloaded for additional value.

If you use multiple forms of payment in one transaction, such as cash, credit card or a Crepeworks Card that is not registered to your Crepeworks Rewards account, you will earn a prorated number of Points based on the eligible purchase amount that was purchased using a Crepeworks Card registered to your Crepeworks Rewards account.

Point Expiration

Unless otherwise required by law, Points accrued in your Crepeworks Rewards account expire six (6) months after the calendar month in which such Points were earned. For example, if you earn Points on April 5, 2019, they will expire on November 1, 2019. The oldest accrued Points will be used first for redemptions. You can view and track your Star balance and available Rewards, as well as any additional benefits for which you are eligible as a Crepeworks Rewards member, on https://app.Crepeworks.ca or by using the Crepeworks mobile app.

Point Redemption

As a member of Crepeworks Rewards, you are eligible to redeem Points for complimentary Crepeworks items at participating Crepeworks stores in Canada, the United States, Puerto Rico, the United Kingdom and Ireland. Crepeworks Rewards offers different Rewards based on different Star redemption tiers. Note that the Rewards available and Star redemption tiers may vary by country. The Star redemption tiers for redeeming Points at participating Crepeworks stores in Canada are as follows:

25 Points may be redeemed for one (1) of the following beverage modifiers: an added espresso shot, added syrup or sauce (such as mocha sauce), or a dairy alternative option (such as soy beverage, almond beverage, or coconut beverage), valued up to One Canadian Dollar ($1.00 CAD). The beverage modifiers in this redemption tier are only available as a customization to your base beverage order and cannot be redeemed as a standalone beverage.
50 Points may be redeemed for one (1) of the following items: hot brewed coffee or hot steeped tea OR a bakery item. Bakery items may include cake pops, cookies, croissants, bagels, and loaf cake slices. Iced brewed coffee, Clover brewed coffee, and Crepeworks Reserve coffee are excluded from this redemption tier.
150 Points may be redeemed for one (1) of the following items: any handcrafted beverage (such as a latte or Frappuccino® blended beverage), OR any hot breakfast item (such as a breakfast sandwich or oatmeal), OR any packaged snack item (excluding packaged protein boxes). All beverages must be standard menu-sized items.
250 Points may be redeemed for one (1) packaged salad or lunch sandwich OR one (1) packaged protein box.
400 Points may be redeemed for one (1) packaged coffee item (such as whole bean coffee) OR a select merchandise item with a value up to Twenty Canadian Dollars ($20.00 CAD) (pre-tax). Packaged coffee and merchandise availability may vary by store location.

Point Redemption May Vary; Participating Crepeworks Stores Only

Rewards and Star redemption tiers vary by country. Not all Crepeworks stores have the ability to honour all Star redemption tiers, and the items available for redemption in each Star redemption tier may vary by participating Crepeworks store location. Certain Crepeworks stores (such as those in certain grocery and airport locations) may offer only the 150 Star redemption tier. At such locations, and notwithstanding anything to the contrary in these Terms of Use, you will be eligible to redeem 150 Points for one (1) handcrafted beverage OR one (1) food item only.

Other Important Star Redemption Information and Exclusions

Points may be redeemed at participating Crepeworks stores and are ineligible to be redeemed for the following items: alcoholic beverages; multi-serve food or beverage items (for example, a tray of Cranberry Bliss Bars or a Coffee Traveler); and items available at Princi stores and Crepeworks Roastery locations.

You must present a Crepeworks Card registered to your Crepeworks Rewards account to the barista at a participating Crepeworks store in order to redeem Points. You cannot redeem multiple Star redemption tiers within a single beverage order, and the maximum value for any individual redemption is $50 CAD. For example, you cannot redeem 50 Points for a hot brewed coffee and 25 Points for added syrup within a single beverage order.

If you redeem Points at a participating Crepeworks store outside of Canada, the Star redemption tiers applicable in the country in which such store is located will apply and may differ from the Star redemption tiers in Canada that are set forth in these Terms of Use.

Additional Benefits of Crepeworks Rewards

As a Crepeworks Rewards member, you are eligible for the following additional benefits:
Birthday Reward. On your birthday (as indicated in your Crepeworks Rewards account), you will receive one (1) complimentary handcrafted beverage OR one (1) complimentary food item OR one (1) complimentary ready-to-drink bottled beverage (“Birthday Reward”).

Your Birthday Reward may be redeemed at participating Crepeworks stores only and excludes: multi-serve food or beverage items (for example, a tray of Cranberry Bliss Bars or a Coffee Traveler); beverages that contain alcohol; merchandise and packaged coffee; and items available at Crepeworks Roastery and Princi locations.

To qualify for your Birthday Reward, you must join Crepeworks Rewards at least seven (7) days prior to your birthday, provide your birthday in your Crepeworks Rewards account information, and make at least one Star-earning transaction prior to your birthday each year. Your Birthday Reward will be automatically added to your Crepeworks Rewards account on your birthday and is valid only on that date. You must present a Crepeworks Card registered to your Crepeworks Rewards account to the barista at a participating Crepeworks store in order to redeem your Birthday Reward. You will receive only one (1) Birthday Reward per year regardless of the number of Crepeworks Cards that are registered to your Crepeworks Rewards account.

If you provided Crepeworks with a current, valid email address in your Crepeworks Rewards account information and have opted to receive promotional emails, you will receive a reminder email from Crepeworks approximately one (1) to three (3) days prior to your birthday indicating that your Birthday Reward is available to you. You also may receive a notification within the Crepeworks mobile app. You can check to see if your Birthday Reward is available by accessing your Crepeworks Rewards account on www.Crepeworks.ca/account or in the Crepeworks mobile app.

Free refill(s) of hot or iced brewed coffee and tea. To be eligible for free refill(s) of hot or iced brewed coffee or tea, you must use a Crepeworks Card registered to your Crepeworks Rewards account to purchase a hot or iced brewed coffee or tea and then present that same Crepeworks Card for refills of such hot or iced brewed coffee or tea during the same store visit at participating Crepeworks stores.

Early or extended access to certain promotions and offers. Crepeworks may offer Crepeworks Rewards members early or extended access to special menu items or discounts. You may take part in these offers by paying with a Crepeworks Card registered to your Crepeworks Rewards account at participating Crepeworks stores.

Personalized offers and coupons. Special offers may be distributed by email, through the Crepeworks mobile app (including via push notifications), or by physical mail. You may be required to opt-in and activate special offers via the Crepeworks mobile app or via email. In order to receive and activate personalized special offers distributed via email, you must opt-in to receive promotional and marketing offers from Crepeworks and you may be required to provide a valid email, telephone and physical address. Special offers may be customized based on your purchase behaviors and preferences, and may include periodic discounts on food, beverages and merchandise, or the opportunity to earn Bonus Points. Special offers may have certain restrictions, including expiration dates and short, time-limited redemption periods. Special offers are personal to you and cannot be shared, copied or transferred. You may be required to present or pay with a Crepeworks Card registered to your Crepeworks Rewards account in order to redeem special offers. Read each offer carefully for specific details, expiration dates, limitations and restrictions, and to learn whether Bonus Points will be awarded to your Crepeworks Rewards account.

Double-Points Day. As a Crepeworks Rewards member, you are eligible for one (1) Double-Star Day each calendar month beginning no later than five (5) weeks after you have joined Crepeworks Rewards. Crepeworks will notify you of your designated Double-Star Day each month, which may vary from month to month and will be personalized and selected by Crepeworks for you. You must download the Crepeworks mobile app OR opt-in to receive promotional and marketing emails from Crepeworks in order to receive notice of your designated Double-Star Day. You also may be required to “activate” your Double-Star Day each month by clicking within the notification email or the notification within the Crepeworks mobile app. On your designated Double-Star Day, the number of Points you earn when you use a Crepeworks Card registered to your Crepeworks Rewards account at participating Crepeworks stores will be multiplied by two (2). Crepeworks reserves the right to exclude certain products and merchandise from Double-Star Day eligibility and to modify the Double-Star Day benefit.

Crepeworks reserves the right to change the number and type of additional benefits offered to members of Crepeworks Rewards in its sole discretion at any time.

Other Important Information You Should Know

These Terms of Use complement and incorporate by reference the Crepeworks Card Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between the Crepeworks Card Terms and Conditions and these Terms of Use, the Crepeworks Card Terms and Conditions control.

There are no participation or membership fees associated with Crepeworks Rewards. Points accrued in connection with Crepeworks Rewards are promotional, have no cash value, and cannot be redeemed for cash. In addition, your redemption of Points accrued in connection with Crepeworks Rewards cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts that are applicable to the Rewards for which you are redeeming such Points, unless otherwise expressly indicated by Crepeworks.

Your Points, Rewards, Crepeworks Cards registered to your Crepeworks Rewards account, and your Crepeworks Rewards account are personal to you and may not be sold, transferred or assigned to, or shared with, family, friends or others, or used by you for any commercial purpose. You may have only one (1) Crepeworks Rewards account that is personal to you.

Crepeworks reserves the right to suspend any Crepeworks Card registered to your Crepeworks Rewards account and/or terminate your Crepeworks Rewards account and/or your participation in Crepeworks Rewards if Crepeworks determines that you have violated these Terms of Use or that the use of your Crepeworks Rewards account is unauthorized, deceptive, fraudulent or otherwise unlawful. Crepeworks may suspend, cancel or combine Crepeworks Rewards accounts that appear to be duplicative. In the event that your participation in Crepeworks Rewards is terminated, all accrued Points in your Crepeworks Rewards account are void.

Any Crepeworks Card or Crepeworks Rewards account that has been inactive for two (2) consecutive years will be rendered inactive and unregistered. Inactivity is defined as no Points earned or redeemed during such two (2) consecutive year period. In the event that your Crepeworks Card or Crepeworks Rewards account is unregistered or rendered inactive, all accrued Points in your Crepeworks Rewards account are lost.

Crepeworks reserves the right to change, modify, discontinue or cancel Crepeworks Rewards or any part of Crepeworks Rewards at any time and in its sole discretion, without notice to you.

Severability

If any provision or part of a provision of these Terms of Use is unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision or part of the provision is deemed severable from these Terms of Use and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
